In overcrowded aquariums and ponds where waste products from the fishes, etc., quickly collect, it can also rapidly detoxify toxic organics that accumulate in the aquarium and pond water and are a problem as the water ages, lessening the need for water changes.

Many larger freshwater and saltwater aquarium fishes release pheromones to establish territoriality and repel other fishes. DIRECTIONS: Rinse before use. Use in a fine mesh filter bag. Each 1 L treats up to 4,000 L (1,000 gallons*) for up to six months. Exhaustion is indicated by a pronounced discoloration of the beads to dark brown or black.

Regeneration: Purigen will turn from its normal color to a deep brown when it is exhausted. Purigen can easily be regenerated by soaking it in a solution of hyperchlorite (generic) bleach overnight. The Purigen™will return to its original color. Then rinse well and dechlorinate using Prime™or Safe™to remove any chlorine. For freshwater, use a buffer to adjust the pH as needed due to bleach’s high pH.

DIRECTIONS: For best results, de*nitrate™ should be placed to assure the flow of water through it, such as in a canister filter, chemical filtration module, or box filter. Flow rate should not exceed 200 L (50 gallons*) per hour. If higher flow rates are unavoidable, use Matrix™ or Pond Matrix™.

It is best to rinse off dust before use. Once de*nitrate™ has been in use for several days, nitrate concentrations should start to fall and level off gradually at a concentration of about 4–5 mg/L as nitrate. As long as nitrate concentrations remain under control, the product is not exhausted.

Considerations for Use:
For best results, use a fine filter floss or pad filter and force water through it. Dirt, cloudiness causing particles and algae will collect on this filter and can be discarded.

If the tank is extremely cloudy, you can double the dose. Do not use more than two doses per week.

If the tank is heavily loaded with fish and plants and has not had proper water changes, use Kent Poly Ox first, to lower the organic loading in the system. Then, wait one day before using this product.

Directions:
Dilute one drop per gallon of aquarium capacity or one teaspoon (capful or 5 ml) per 50 gallons (190 liters) of aquarium capacity in cup of water and evenly disperse around the aquarium. Precipitated particles should be removed by a properly working mechanical filter and fine filtering medium, such as filter floss, or siphoned out. Allow 8 hours before siphoning. Repeat in 24 hours, if necessary.

The highly specialized cultures contained in Nite-Out II will establish, promote or stabilize and maintain nitrification, eliminating the toxic effect of ammonia in your tank via a natural biological process.

Nite-Out II's liquid nitrifying bacteria contains select strains of Nitrosomonas (oxidizes ammonia to nitrite), Nitrospira and Nitrobacter bacteria (oxidize nitrite to nitrate).

Add the liquid containing the autotrophic microorganisms to the tank. Typical growth rate will have them working immediately and doubling every 8-16 hours.

Use to diminish ammonia in an established tank. Use after every partial water change as well as every time new fish are added to the tank to increase the efficiency of your bacteria bed.

Prime™ detoxifies nitrite and nitrate, allowing the biofilter to more efficiently remove them. It will also detoxify any heavy metals found in the tap water at typical concentration levels.Prime™ also promotes the production and regeneration of the natural slime coat. Prime™ is non-acidic and will not impact pH. Prime™ will not overactivate skimmers. Use at start-up and whenever adding or replacing water.

Prime works by removing chlorine from the water and then binds with ammonia until it can be consumed by your biological filtration (chloramine minus chlorine = ammonia). The bond is not reversible and ammonia is still available for your bacteria to consume but not available to harm your fish. Prime will not halt your cycling process. Directions: Use 1 ml for each gallon of water. Measuring device included. The sulfur odor is normal. For high chloramine concentrations that are extremely high, a double dose may be used safely. To detoxify nitrate, in an emergency, you may use up to 5 times the normal dose.
