Anything that holds water, such as ponds, fountains, bird baths, rain barrels, old tires, old flower pots, abandoned pools, horse troughs, etc. need pro-active treatment to limit breeding of West Nile Virus, Equine Encephalitis & Heartworm disease - carrying mosquitoes. They breed in temporary rain pools, salt marshes and freshwater cattail swamps as well as man-made water traps. Microbe-lift BMC Mosquito Control is a biological larvicide with aqueous suspension. A super concentrated formula that kills mosquito larvae within 24 hours - before they become biting adults! Because the crystal protein is specific to the cells lining the gut of mosquito and black fly larvae, it does not affect other insects like dragaonflies nor higher life forms incluging plants, animals and humans. BMC is fully safe for pond use & water that is used by or in contact with humans, animals, horses livestock, pets, birds, or wildlife.
